This one was a big one, almost 2 years in the making!
The Arcata Tarot is a 78-card deck with matching instructional booklet. It is based off of the original Rider-Waite Tarot deck, keeping with the classic symbolism while giving it a whimsical cat theme. Each card was first researched, sketched in pencil, lined, rendered and colored before being compared with the original tarot for consistency in symbols and colors, then compiled together to create a loving tribute to cats.
Between October and November 2024, the amazing contributors and Kickstarter turned this dream into a reality. The Arcata Tarot is set to be sold at Raven's Moon starting on March 15th, 2025. As always, half of all proceeds will go directly to non-profit cat charities and rescues.
